Wonderful Cajamarca 03 Days / 02 Nights

This program allows you to discover the historical center and surroundings of the beautiful city of Cajamarca , the famous Baths of the Inca, as well as the impressive Archaeological Complex of Cumbe Mayo, considered as a remarkable hydraulic engineering work of pre-Hispanic America . One of Cajamarca’s most emblematic places is the Granja Porcón which offers you ecological, agro-tourism and live experience excursions. Then, we’ll visit the La Collpa ex farm, characterized by the peculiar way the cows are being called by their names, thus giving a funny spectacle in the milking stables. In addition, you can’t miss out on a visit to Huambocancha Alta, a village of  marble or granite stone cutters, without mentioning Cajamarca’s exquisite gastronomy.

PROGRAM

DAY 01          Arrival in Cajamarca / City Tour

• Arrival transfer from the airport or bus station to your hotel
• Free morning to acclimatize
• Lunch on your own account
• 3:00 p.m.: Visit of the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), San Francisco ’s Church, the Ransom Room, tour of the city and surroundings
• Transfer back to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 02          Granja Porcón / La Collpa ex Farm / Inca’s Baths

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 9:00 a.m.: Departure to Huambocancha Alta, a village of marble or granite stone cutters
• Visit to the Granja Porcón, an ecological, agro-tourism and live experience complex, with a hike around the woods and visit of the zoo
• Typical lunch
• 3:00 p.m.: Visit of the La Collpa ex farm, with its characteristic stable which the cows run to, when being called by their name, and observation of the Llacanora Cascades
• Tour of the Inca’s Baths Tourist Complex, where we’ll appreciate the Inca’s Pool and its little jars
• Transfer back to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 03          Archaeological Complex of Cumbe Mayo

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour of the impressive Archaeological Complex of Cumbe Mayo, considered as one of pre-Hispanic América’s most remarkable hydraulic engineering works, Bellavista Vantage Point, pre-Incan Temple of Layzón , archaeological sites, hydraulic canal and forest park
• Transfer to the airport or bus station.
