Magical Huaraz program is a complete tour which contains elements of the region´s main cultural and natural circuits, starting with the delightful city of Huaraz, journeying along the Callejón de Huaylas, visiting Chavín de Huántar, contemplating the snow-capped Mount Pastoruri and lagoons, crossing the White Cordillera, through the Tunnel of Cahuish, going on a hike on the glacier, observing the famous Phuyas de Raymondi which are naturally gaseous water pools, ancient paintings on rocks, and we´ll have a chance to enjoy beautiful landscapes and thermal baths, appreciate local handicraft and taste the exquisite regional gastronomy.

The trip from Lima to Huaraz, takes place on a Cruzero bus, with comfortable night service, which allows you to save two nights at hotels and gain time for excursions.

MAGICAL HUARAZ PROGRAM

DAY 01 – Magical Huaraz – Lima / Huaraz

• 9:00 p.m.: Departure from Lima , on Cruz del Sur bus, with Cruzero service

DAY 02 – Magical Huaraz – Arrival in Huaraz / Tour of the Callejón de Huaylas

• 6:00 a.m.: Arrival in Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour of the Callejón de Huaylas, with visit to the villages of Caraz, Carhuaz, Yungay and Llanganuco¨s Lagoon
• Lunch in Caraz
• Visit to Taricá, a craftspeople´s village
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 03 – Magical Huaraz – Queroqocha Lagoon / White Cordillera / Chavín de Huántar

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour to Queroqocha Lagoon, snow-capped Mount Maki , crossing the White Cordillera, through the Tunnel of Cahuish ( 4,170 m .a.s.l.)
• Lunch
• Tour of the Archaeological Complex of Chavín de Huántar, with its pyramids, temples, squares, doorways, stairways, aqueducts, underground mazes, sculpted heads and Lanzón Monolith
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 04 – Magical Huaraz – Mount Pastoruri / Raymondi´s Phuyas / Vicus / Honcopampa

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 8:00 a.m.: Excursion to the snow-covered Mount Pastoruri, guided visit of the gaseous water pools, ancient paintings on rocks, Seven Colors Water Spring, Phuyas de Raymondi´s “Rolls” and hike on the glacier
• Lunch
• Visit of San Patricio´s Cave
• Visit of the village of Vicus , with its ancestral customs, short hike around the archaeological sites and the cataract
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 05 – Magical Huaraz – City Tour / Thermal Baths of Monterrey

• Breakfast at your hotel
• City tour, with the visit of the La Soledad Church , trout breeding farm and Monterrey´s Thermal Baths
• Typical farewell lunch (Pachacamac)
• Free afternoon
• 9:30 p.m.: Transfer to the bus station and return to Lima , on a bus, with Cruzero service.

DAY 06 – Magical Huaraz – Arrival in Lima

• 6:00 a.m.: Arrival in the city of Lima .
