This program includes the most characteristic and emblematic circuits in the Region of Cajamarca, accessible to foreign and Peruvian visitors who wish to share an unforgettable circuit, getting to know historical places, such as the Inca’s Baths, Inca Atahualpa´s Ransom Room, the famous Ventanillas de Otuzco (Pre-Incan necropolis), combining these with ecological, agro-tourism and live experience excursions, at the traditional Granja Porcón and La Collpa ex farm, characterized for the peculiar way the cows are called by their names, to be milked, which results into a funny spectacle in the milking stables.

Finally, Huambocancha Alta, a village of marble or granite stone cutters, complements perfectly this circuit, along with a tour of the city of Cajamarca , enjoying its attractions and exquisite local gastronomy.

FULL CAJAMARCA PROGRAM

DAY 01          Arrival in Cajamarca / Tour La Collpa ex Farm / Inca’s Baths Complex

• Arrival transfer from the airport or bus station to your hotel
• Free morning to acclimatize
• 3:00 p.m.: Visit to the La Collpa ex farm, with its characteristic stables which the cows run to, when called by their name and observation of the Llacanora Cascades
• Tour of the Inca’s Baths Tourist Complex, where we’ll appreciate the Inca’s Pool and its little jars
• Return to Cajamarca and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 02          Granja Porcón / Huambocancha Alta / Stone Cutters

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 9:00 a.m.: Departure to Huambocancha Alta, a village of marble or granite stone cutters
• Visit to the Granja Porcón, an ecological, agro-tourism and live experience complex, hike around the woods and visit of the zoo
• Typical lunch
• Free afternoon
• Return to Cajamarca and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 03          Cumbe Mayo / Ventanillas de Otuzco

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour of the impressive Archaeological Complex of Cumbe Mayo, considered as one of pre-Hispanic America’s most remarkable hydraulic engineering works, Bellavista Vantage Point, pre-Incan Temple of Layzón, archaeological sites, a water canal and the forest park
• Tour of Otuzco’s necropolis (Pre-Incan cemetery), with its impressive crypts dug into the out-jutting rocks, The Hortensias´ Botanical Gardens and Los Alpes Country Estate
• Lunch on your own account
• Return to Cajamarca and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 04          City Tour

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Visit of the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), San Francisco ’s Church, Ransom Room, city center and surroundings
• Transfer to the airport or bus station.
