Dreamer’s Huaraz  5 Days / 4 Nights

From the delightful city of Huaraz, this program gives us access to very attractive circuits of greater preference, as much of Peruvian visitors, as that of foreigners: We´ll start with the Callejón de Huaylas, passing by the ancestral villages of Caraz, Carhuaz and Yungay, Llanganuco´s Lagoon, Mount Pastoruri, the gaseous water pools and paintings on rocks, going on a hike on the glacier, visiting the Phuyas de Raymondi´s “Rolls” and cataracts. As a complement, we´ll have the chance to enjoy beautiful landscapes and thermal baths, appreciate local handicraft and taste the exquisite regional gastronomy. The trip from Lima to Huaraz, will take place on a comfortable night service Cruzero bus, which will allow you to save on two nights at hotels and gain time for excursions.

HUARAZ PROGRAM

DAY 01          Lima / Huaraz

• 9:00 a.m.: Departure from Lima , on a Cruz del Sur bus, with Cruzero service.

DAY 02           Callejón de Huaylas / Caraz / Carhuaz / Yungay / Llanganuco´s Lagoon

• 6:00 a.m.: Arrival in Huaraz, reception at the bus station and transfer to your hotel
• Breakfast at your hotel
• 9:00 a.m.: Departure on a tourist bus bound to the Callejón de Huaylas, guided visit of the villages of Caraz, Carhuaz and Yungay, the Camposanto´s Site and Llanganuco´s Lagoon
• Lunch in Caraz
• Visit of the craftspeople´s village of Taricá , well known for its excellent production of handicraft ceramic objects
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account
• Hotel night.

DAY 03           Mount Pastoruri / Raymondi´s Phuyas / Vicus / Cataracts of Honcopampa

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 9:00 a.m.: Excursion to Mount Pastoruri , guided visit of the gaseous water pools and paintings on rocks, to the Seven Colors Water Spring, Phuyas de Raymondi´s “Rolls” and hike on the glacier
• Lunch
• Visit of San Patricio´s Cave, of the ancestral village of Vicus and Honcopampa´s Cataracts
• Dinner on your own account
• Hotel night.

DAY 04          City Tour / Thermal Baths of Monterrey

• Breakfast at your hotel
• City tour, vantage point, La Soledad Church , trout breeding farm and Monterrey´s Thermal Baths
• Typical farewell lunch (Pachamanca)
• Free afternoon
• 9:30 p.m.: Transfer to the bus station and return to Lima , on a bus, with Cruzero service.

DAY 05          Arrival in Lima

• 6:00 a.m.: Arrival in the city of Lima .
