Archaeological Huaraz 4 days/ 3 nights

Our services are offered from the delightful city of Huaraz which is the access doorway to the area´s main cultural tourist circuits, such as the archaeological complexes of Chavín de Huántar and Wilcahuaín, combining with visits to the emblematic Queroqocha Lagoon, the observation of snow-capped mountains and the crossing of the White Cordillera, through the Tunnel of Cahuish. We´ll have a chance to enjoy beautiful landscapes, appreciate local handicraft and taste the exquisite regional gastronomy. The trip from Lima to Huaraz, takes place on a comfortable night service Cruzero bus, which allows you to save one night at a hotel and gain time for excursions.

PROGRAM

DAY 01          Lima / Huaraz

• 9:00 p.m.: Departure from Lima , on a Cruz del Sur Cruzero service bus.

DAY 02          Arrival in Huaraz / Tour of the Archaeological Complex of Wilcahuaín

• 6:00 a.m.: Arrival in Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour of the Archaeological Complex of Wilcahuaín, of Huari origin
• Lunch in Caraz
• Visit of Taricá, a craftspeople´s village
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 03           Queroqocha Lagoon / Observing the White Cordillera / Chavín de Huántar

• Breakfast at your hotel
• Tour to the Queroqocha Lagoon and snow-covered Mount Maki, crossing the White Cordillera, through the Tunnel of Cahuish ( 4,170 m .a.s.l.)
• Lunch
• Tour of the Archaeological Complex of Chavín de Huántar, with its pyramids, temples, squares, doorways, stairways, aqueducts, underground mazes, sculpted heads and the Lanzón Monolith
• Return to Huaraz and transfer to your hotel
• Dinner on your own account.

DAY 04          Return to Lima

• Breakfast at your hotel
• 10:30 a.m.: Transfer to the bus station and return to Lima, on a Cruzero service bus.
